Smoke and Mirrors: How to slip through legislation
It’s doubtful that Eric Holder will find anything new and really it’s not the point to his reopening the investigation into the treatment of terrorist, is it? It’s the smoke and mirrors of such great magicians as Houdini and Chris Angel. While your watching the one hand of this administration the other is tearing through your wallet, opening your home for supposed inspection, and taking away your rights. In 2002, Eric Holder said thatĀ the terroristsĀ did not fall under the rules and regulations of the Geneva Convention due to their actions…but today, he will prosecute those who kept us safe from future attacks by Al Qaeda. According to those who practice the delicate business of espionage, interrogation, and national defense, Holder’s actions will not only put good men in peril, but will leave this nation vulnerable to future terrorist’s attacks.
Okay, say we bombed, abducted, or otherwise molested a nation, any nation on earth, do you suppose that the men that carried out this plot would be fed three times a day, given adequate clothing, housed in a southern atmosphere of comfort? If you doubt that Guantanamo is comfortable, visit one of our contiguous state prisons and see the condition in which we keep our domestic, and civil offenders. The average American prisoner is fed three times a day, subject to strip search at the prison’s convenience, and are housed without air conditioning. I’m not pleading a case for rapist and murderers here, I’m stating a well-known fact that our average offender does not have the finer elements of Guantanamo, nor should anyone who has murdered, rape, or extorted from those around them. Perhaps Obama should offer one of the prisons in the states the option of trading places with the Guantanamo inmates. He would likely find takers.
Guantanamo, the CIA investigations, and many other issues have merely been a smoke screen for the more important agenda of this administration; nationalization through socialism. While Holder won’t prosecute Black Panthers, tax evaders, and embezzlers, he will prosecute good men of quality to throw off the real bear at the door; the people of the United States. ACORN walks on water, the Color of Change extorts its way through the system, and democrats are above the laws of man, nature, and the land of freedom. Last week, this nation honored a man who committed murder in 1969, as we would honor a president, and all because his brother was assassinated in 1963. Had he been a republican whose family originated from Joe Bob, Texas, he would have been committed to the grounds of some unknown cemetery with fan-fare missing, and ridicule abounding. God, alone, knows what the ceremony for an independent would have been like, but dare I suggest it would have been less than that of a republican.
There is another “perhaps,” perhaps the English government would have thought twice about aiding in the release of the Lockerbie bomber had not we released the Uyghur’s on soils belonging to and English protectorate. By no means did the Lockerbie bomber deserve “compassionate release,” but neither was it necessary to release any prisoners from the Guantanamo Detention Facility. The release of known terrorists, regardless of the nation that releases them, is national suicide, as is the persecution of men who did their jobs when others lacked the stomach for the operation.
With this administration, do not watch the hand it is shoving in your face; watch the hand it is about shove up the backside of freedom. The potential to have a half dollar in your arse is likely while POTUS speaks from TOTUS and all eyes are on him.
