This morning everyone knows that Patrick Swayze died (a sad loss), they know that Kanye West made an ass of himself, and the media is all “a-buzz” with the news that Obama will talk to the AFL-CIO union workers to push his health care reform bill, but it’s amazing that among all the stories there was a noted lack of reportage of the 9/12 March on Washington D.C. (whew Obama sure took the first jet out of town). What’s a few hundred thousand disgruntled Americans give or take a few? Mainstream media doesn’t have time to report on anything that irritates “The One,” unless it involves guns and violence—and that redneck racist was a clean cut black man.

You know they are not going to report how much jet fuel consumption the Obama administration has wasted while running from ardent protesters. They wouldn’t do that. Obama has lunch in Manhattan, you’ll hear about that. Obama makes an extra trip to the “john” and they will likely report that, but hundreds of thousands of people telling Obama that “enough is enough” and the media will not report that it happened…try getting them to even admit that it happened.

Strange Charlie Sheen can go off the fruit loop trail, and the media is all over that, but 3—count them—3 videos of ACORN workers telling a man and a woman how to defraud the government of taxes and set up a brothel whose employees are 13-years of age, and MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS will miss that little ditty, while CNN might give it a 2-minute spot, because of the lawsuit that ACORN is threatening to bring against the pair of investigative reporters that ratted them out. Among the things that most media outlets did give credence, it must be said that Beyonce Knowles has shown herself to not only be a star, but a woman of quality…’nough said, and we all appreciate her grace.

While the mainstream (and many are beginning to wonder how they meet in any stream) has its nose firmly stuck up the ass of the Obama administration, they—the hacks not reporting news—are losing viewers. Perhaps…just perhaps, we the people should run up a red flag to let them know that we’ve pretty much had it with the slobbering, fawning that has been gifted on “The One” and the petty amoral descriptions of Middle America. Geesh, I don’t know, maybe we should take a few hundred thousand pissed off Americans and camp out on Katie Couric’s doorstep. If we eat junk food and failed to pick up the wrappers, surely the mainstream media would report on the disorderly mob that is ruining the ecosystem. And OMG, let a beaver get his little snout caught in one of those ring tops from a can, the SPCA would have us all indicted on animal cruelty charges…that’s what the mainstream media is all about, “Save the animals, praise the dufus-n-chief, and to hell with the people.”

A foot note (just love foot notes): At least the senate did give some credence to a couple of hardworking investigative reporters when they voted 83 to 7 to remove funding for the housing program of ACORN.
