Mount Olympus: The Gods of Hollywood are angry

Published by dfallis at 9:37 am under Entertainment, Humor, Living, News Edit This

The law is the law and it applies to all people, but the actors, actresses, directors, and producers of the silver screen and television are Gods-not to be mistaken with mere mortals-and are not subject to our laws. Ah, that felt better and it brings us to the arrest of Roman Polanski, director and widower of Sharon Tate (The Manson Murders). Even Jack Nicholson, or God Jack, has approached Arnold Schwarzenegger in order to have Polanski released for his little mistake over 30-years ago.

Mr. Polanski plead guilty to sexual intercourse with a minor, and then very impolitely fled the country for Europe where he has lived unchained by the crime for over 3 decades. His “little mistake” was the drugging, raping, and sodomizing, of a 13-year-old girl…but remember he is one of the gods of Hollywood that should not be mistaken as a mere mortal, and therefore not subject to our laws. In the alternate world where these stars, starlets, and sex symbols live, there is always feast and no famine, and there will always be an unhampered ability to commit the lowest of crimes and call them mistakes. Poor, poor Roman, the mortals are making an example of you for having been a lusty, mean-natured, pathetic excuse for a god, and all you did was rape and sodomize a girl from the slums of the earthly world.

The idea that the gods of Mount Olympus should be punished is a “change” we can believe in, because it has been far-too-long that they have walked in the clouds considering themselves to be above mortal laws. A simple guess would lead one to believe that Polanski may be contained behind bars, as the gods lack the power to escape our menial punishment.
