Obama the Film Director: Producing positive films for the first reich

Published by dfallis under Political Edit This

During Hitler’s reign of power, he used and abused his power over a woman named Reni Riefenstahl to produce the most decadent propaganda films in history. These films were meant to rile, sooth, and mislead the German people, and if you watched one today not-knowing that they were produced by and at Hitler’s demand, you might think that Hitler had been the victim in WWII. His power as a dictator (though not the term used as Hitler’s title) hinged on his ability to cajole and deceive the German people into believing that he had their best interest, indeed, the best interest of Germany at the heart of matters. Hitler was a brilliant man and this has been proven time and again by his choices and abilities, but it made him no less a maniacal power monger bent on wiping out the Jewish race, and ruling the world.

There have been many docudramas and films made about a man that some sought to understand, some sought to destroy his image, and some merely wanted to produce a portion of history-so horrible-that it would be remembered and not repeated. They say that modern man needs something tangible to convince him of what was and what will be; however, those like myself, who watched these docudramas and films, have formed opinions about rights and wrongs, and dos and don’ts by viewing German history. Now with his immense knowledge and considerable press coverage, Obama has begun to produce his own news. His version of what should be seen and heard, the world over so that he will come out in the best light. Did you not think that a man who loved the spotlight would not come to this idea?.

Brilliance is often a recipe for great and horrible ideas with those who are self-professed genius the most dangerous of all people capable of thought. Reason would lead one to believe that by having had the advantage of accomplishing power in a great nation, it would be unwise to change that nation. Brilliant maniacal reasoning; however, deduces that if I’m great and powerful, I need no peers and must stem any tide that would lead to another individual challenging my position. Flatten the tires on a racecar and it will not win the race. Flatten the tires of a nation and it cannot move forward. Obama is systematically flattening the tires of our nation while telling college graduates not to aspire to great places, and ramming his version of the truth down everyone’s throat. Anyone who debates or disputes his truth is either a racist or a republican, and therefore is just jealous of his position. He keeps saying “I won” but he continues to give campaign speeches instead of solving what he said would be his first priorities.

Pakistan: More funds to aid the Pakistani government

Published by dfallis under Humor, Political Edit This

Hillary Clinton’s objective to giving $30 billion in aid to the Pakistani government was that they were given $5 billion last year that was squandered away. It could be taken one-step further by mentioning that we are broke and do not have any money to give any country, but we all know how generous our congress is with the taxpayer’s dollars. Why not allow our overly generous congressmen/women to clean out their own bank accounts, give money from their pet pork projects, and this would be the aid that the country could afford to give to the Pakistani government.

Note 1 to self: It’s getting pretty scary when I start to agree with Hillary Clinton-must stop doing so soon.

Trust is an issue that is plaguing this nation, more so on the federal level than any other level, but it is creeping into the private sector. A year ago, we purchased on time pay out, a 42-inch, flat screen HD television for the living room. At that time we were told that we were building credit with the company that held the loan, and that when we returned to purchase more, that it would be easier because we would have established a pay history with them.

News Flash: We decided to get Surround Sound and a WI entertainment/game center yesterday. These two electronic purchases, together, did not add up to the amount that we spent on the television, but we had to go through the whole process of re-applying to the pay out system. There’s a trust issue here, because the fact that we made all payments on time, paid more than the monthly allotment, and paid the thing off early did not go toward establishing anything, much less credit.

Note 2 to self: Take nothing for granted, especially if you will have to drive 50 miles, sit for 3 hours, and return the next day with a pay stub in hand to re-establish your honor and trust with the people who took money on a monthly basis and are now skeptical of your intentions to pay.

You must understand that these two issues are related in my mind. The Pakistani government is being considered as the recipient of $30 billion in aid, when they have wasted $5 billion given them last year, while we have to prove our sincerity for a purchase of less than $1 thousand to a company that knows we pay our debts. The major differences in the two loans is that one is a loan made to a customer, by a private electronics’ firm, while the other is a gift that will never be repaid to the taxpayers and will mostly likely be increased as long as Pakistan is at war with the Taliban. With these two “givens” in mind, perhaps my husband and I should declare war on the electronics’ company and ask the government for aid, or not. We would still like to get the front-loading washer and dryer combination after the Surround Sound and WI are paid off…sometime next year.

Note 3 to readers*: I will always post late on Saturday, because I sleep in and will not make myself rise before 8 a.m. on the weekend.

Tea Party 2.0: Republican strategy

Published by dfallis under Political Edit This

Tonight at 8 p.m. Governor Mark Sanford (SC) and Governor Rick Perry (TX) will be online with the GOP’s version of a tea party. It won’t be the people’s tea party, and it will have a limited time factor, but they are hoping to find out what the people want and how the republicans need to re-vamp the party to meet those expectations. The URL for this event is www.thegopcomeback.com.

Probably, and it has happened before, the 8 p.m. time schedule should be adjusted to 7 p.m for those of us living in the mid-west.

My husband and I intend to attend this tea party, not to support the republican re-vamping, but to let the republicans know what they and the democrats keep missing. The tea parties are not a political association and are not an attempt to help one party over the other, but they are an American right to tell the government that they work for us and need to start listening to what the people want/need instead of worrying about who is elected to the senate or any other political office.

The main, and most important priority to the American people is for the government to cease throwing money to the wind on their pet projects and calling it economically sound strategy.

Let us, the people, tell the government what we really think and hope they will listen.
